"Miriam is such a great teacher, I was struggling with math so much over the years and she was able to describe and adapt her teaching ways so that I could understand math. She made my grade go from a 5 to a 7 in 3 months. She's kind and really helpful she's a great teacher."
Miriam has been teaching maths for more than a decade and still lights up when a tricky concept suddenly clicks for a student. She’s taught everything from Year 7 algebra to Alevel Further Maths. She’s lectured in mathematics at the University of Warwick, trained future teachers at Birmingham City University, and volunteered as a teacher in Hyderabad, India, in a children’s orphanage and school.
Her teaching is creative and personal. She believes that everyone learns differently, so she adapts her approach to each student - not the other way around. With this flexibility, she’s helped students consistently achieve top grades at GCSE, A level, and IB.
Miriam likes setting brave goals and pushing boundaries. When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her cycling through the mountains or taking on ultramarathons. She once biked from Canada to California for the challenge. She brings that same mindset to helping students reach their potential and open doors to future opportunities.
